Source 2 Sea 4 charity (S2C) - July 2006

This blog was created for our Source 2 Sea challenge (the length of the Thames) which we're doing during the first week in July 2006. If you're interested in my earlier challenges, please click on the 'View my Complete Profile' button and you'll see a list of what I've done. Thanks for your support, Colin.

Source 2 Sea background

Six of us are navigating 222 miles from the source of the River Thames to the North Sea on foot, by kayak and bicycle (plod, paddle, pedal!) in aid of six different charities. We're starting off on Saturday the 1st July and will finish on Friday the 7th.

The six of us are: Gary Burkhardt, Colin Bycroft, Liz Darlow, Tony Jones, Nigel Robinson and Gordon Wood and we're each supporting the following charities: CLIC Sargent, Parkinson's Disease Society, Cancer Research UK, Heart Research UK, Breast Cancer Awareness, and the 37 Camelot Way minibus appeal. If you'd like to support any of us or the team as a whole, please reply here (thanks in advance).

I included our itinerary in a seperate posting, if any of you live nearby it would be great to get a wave. I've also listed where we're staying, it would be even better if you popped round for a beer!
